Mark,

That is spectacular! And what a lot of work involved getting it to that standard. I’ve made one in the past so can appreciate your efforts.

Guy
Thank you Guy:  seeing as you have made one you know the drill of two steps forward and one back.  I enjoyed the build from start to finish.

Thanks to everyone: Stephen, Lance, Alexis, Dave B., Rick, FVDM and Sandy for looking in and leaving your very much appreciated comments.  Anyone who has this kit should take it out and give it a go.

Beautiful an impressive work, Mark. I like how you converted it to your "own" version and made some modifications. I tend to make it with my own models, too. At least the plane is displayed in your own cabinet and only oneself beholds them for the rest of time.

What a beautiful build this is Mark!

I especially admire the Roll-Royce Eagle VIII engines. The thought that I have to build four of them is very daunting...

I don't know if I have to build mine left and right handed (yet), but I will certainly keep it in mind!

Thank you Willem for looking in and your much appreciated comment.   Unless you are building two Felixstowes at the same time, there are only two engines.  They look complicated but go tgether very easily.  The modeler with AMS could super detail them, but why would one do that when once the top wing is on, not a lot of the engine can be seen other than that they are there.  The starter cranks are on the same side of each engine, there are pulleys on the radiators that go a certain way, other than that, EZ PEEZEE.

Sorry for not being clear Mark.

I need 4 for my Handley Page V/1500 scratch build.

I was able to buy 4 engine sprues (accessories) from Wingnuts Wings before they closed down.

That makes sense.  That will be a fun project for you alright.  As mentioned, they go together well.

What an amazing impressive build! It's not easy to push through with such a massive project, but you really did it justice, Mark! A great tribute to WNW and so well done! Regards, Marc.

Thank you Marc for you kind and appreciated comments.  WNW did this one right, it was a great build, very few problems and what problems there were were easily remedied.  Highly recommend building this one if you have one and the room.
