As well as Merit adding a couple of 1/48 WWI kits to the Aurora choices, Artiplast came up with a pretty rudimentary Ansaldo SVA 5 kit. I couldn't resist the Venetian fuselage banners on the decal sheet and thankfully these decals worked!
Years later I was very happy to see an original Ansaldo hanging in Gabriell D'Annunzio's surreal Vittoreale tomb-cum-museum on the shores of Lake Garda.
