Started with Mercedes D.IIIa engine. Some goodies by Taurus and Barracuda were used to enhance it.

With ignition wiring finished I fitted engine to fuselage construction. Barracuda intake manifold looks nice to me, I just had to remove ports for water injection pipes.

I also prepared fuel lines and throttle control mechanism.

With exhaust completed and thinned down as much as possible the engine was ready to fix it to fuselage. I added some weathering too.

With engine fixed to fuselage construction I also connected fuel lines and throttle lever rod to engine. Then I dry fitted all covers, removed cowl nuts from them and primed with surfacer.

I sprayed blue. I used Drooling bulldog prussian blue, which is awesome and transparent a little, but today I think I should add some white, it looks to dark to me.

Wow - moving fast on this one!

Lovely work on the engine and as Rick has already said, good paint and decalling.

Good progress. I like how the painted over cross is still visible. Nice detail.
