I think that the target for the price increase will be the older releases, such as the Junkers, the Bristol Fighter, and perhaps the Albatros. I´m quite sure that the newest releases have already taken these increases into account, when setting the sale price.

I agree. I'm sure that's why the new Hannover is $99 instead of $79-89 like most other 2-seaters.

*Update*...just got the email from WNW that my Albatros has shipped!   As it is now 12/21 in the wee hours of the morning there, it must be on the last train out, so to speak.  ;)

Well, the new WNW prices are in effect.  As expected, no change to the more recent kits as they were already set at the new price ranges while the rest jumped anywhere from $4 to $20.

Looks like the free shipping is still intact!  :)

Cheers and Happy New Year to all!

Most of the price rises are only modest and the kits still remain good value for money, I doubt if the rises will have much impact on sales, and the free shipping is an excellent incentive to buy kits.

I hope you all have a very happy, healthy and safe 2013.

Yep - still not a terrible price for what you get.

That being said I put in an order right before the cut off to get a few of the oldest WNW kits that I figured would have the most increase.

I had thought to stock up in some of the kits before the rise and before they go off sale, but my latest arrived without the usual VAT and release fee from parcelforce.  So if that will happen again, it more than negates the modest rises.

You are suggesting, Ian, that Parcel Farce might miss two orders of VAT, and fees? Heads will roll!

Most of mine arrive having been snared by Parcelforce - been quite a while since I had one sneak in under the radar.

Ordering from certain Chinese suppliers on EBay, however, has a 100% success rate of evading customs charges, so I cannot complain too much....

I beefed up my stash of unbuilt WNW kits before the new 2013 eve, too.
Pity that Paypal refused to accept my paypal card - and I don't know why... I would have bought another four (I spent two days trying to fix the bug between Dec 28 and Dec 31...). Anyway I was able to buy more than ten kits ...
best regards

Junkers J 1, I think.
but I think that I will not start before june - I'm working too hard and studying for a master degree, so almost no time is left for modeling.

Good luck ermeio!  I started grad school in '06. That combined with my teaching during grad school and afterward conspired to bring my modeling to a standstill. Believe me when I say the kits, this forum, and the rest of all of this will still be here when you graduate. :)
