New RFC Pilot figure in 1:32 scale
« on: December 14, 2012, 06:35:12 AM »
Here is the newly released figure from Wings Cockpit Figures.

David Allen of Wings Cockpit Figures has sent me this photo of the 1:32 scale standing RFC pilot, scarfed up, 1916 - 1918, this figure is sculptered by Steve Warrilow.

David has informed me that the next figures, also in 1:32 scale, will be a seated RFC pilot for the WnW SE.5a, a mechanic swingnig the prop and a standing German pilot, they intend a modest range of WW1 figures.

This figure is available from MDC (Model Design Construction) in Bolsover, Derbyshire, England online or direct from David at Wings Cockpit Figures.

Looks like the beginnings of an excellent line WW I figure range. Thanks for sharing my old friend.
Highest Regards,
Gregory Jouette

PS: Any idea of when to expect the SE.5 pilot and mechanic ?

Apparently Steve is working on those new figures as we speak, so hopefully they will be available early next year, I will keep in touch with David and post any news as I receive it.

This figure is gorgeous!  I'm glad to see someone doing some good figures for the 1/32nd/WNW crowd to populate their 1/32nd world. 'Bout time as it looks like WNW intends on releasing their figures sometime in the 2020's. ;)  8)

And the best part is that his scarf is covering most of his face, which makes painting it just that much easier for those of us challenged by figure painting.

Cheers,

Chris
