Nieuport N836 all-blue Ni.11.   Did this a/c have upper wing roundels?  Seen it done with and without.  Opinions?

Just like any other camouflaged Nieuports it had no upper wing roundels. See the photo of the N836 after crash:

It is very logical.
This blue dope is an experience. Somme of them were blue or white (see Marc Chasard works about it).
in the 8xx serials, most of  Nieuport were camouflated and did not wear roundels.
So those planes did not neither.

See the Tarascon plane in the same case

this one is white and the the others are camouflated
So was the Chapman's plane in the lafayette squadron for example...

Hi Xan,
I was under the impression that Victor Chapman's Nieuport 11 as well as Tarascon's were an ivory color.  Has Marc concluded that these aircraft were white not ivory?
Thanks

Thanks for the pic.  I went without the roundels so I got it right.
