I did think about using an airbrush for the mottle; and I think it's a possibility. I was a little afraid of not quite having the control I needed using an airbrush, given that the technique in this case is seeking to replicate something applied with a sponge. In any case, I think it's a tricky finish to get right, and I don't think I got it right, but I learned for next time!

Accurate or not, I love the finish -such as the different effects on the fuselage, wings and cowling :)

Great looking build!  Love to see more Austrian birds.
There are only two states to be in:  Queensland and blotto.

I don't know how I mised this Brad,but what a beauty!Gorgeous work,and a great build read, it's a treat to see a such a rare A-H aircraft model.
