Nice to see this under way Terri - it will be a real pleasure to see another pusher being built on this site. There are not nearly enough IMO!

With it being a busy day I still managed too get some bench time in getting some masking done . I can start the wood tones now .

Good progress there Terri. On the boom front, the kit parts work just fine and stiffen up nicely when rigged. Just be careful to have secure anchor points and adjust the tension to keep them straight. Regards, Pete in RI

Thanks Pete and for the tip on the booms .

The framing and some other bits have the rest of the wood effect applied . For the grain I used pencil crayons with a over coat of clear yellow/orange mixed 60/40 . This can get masked off now and the grey is next .

No the seat is not made by my hands , it's a resin seat made by Barracude

It's an item which I took the easy path !

The masking Gods were kind to me !

Got the grey sprayed and the masking removed to reveal a excellent masking job with no paint lifting !!! Now it just needs a wash and a sealing coat and the details can start being added

While waiting for stuff to dry on the Camel I made a start on some of the details . For the fuel tank I added a rolled edge with some scrap rod stock and used the same for the piping on the seat cushion . The cushion is from kit with a bit of trimming to get to fit the seat . Also fashioned up heel plates out of scraps and canniblized a Roden SE5a control column for the lever me bob .
