Special Hobby 50 per cent off sales promotion

 Our friends at Special Hobby have launched a special promotion for the next four weeks, offering 12 kits per week at a special 50 per cent discount to registered members. The sale kits rotate each week.

For the first week, August 28 to September 6, the WW1 kit on sale is their 1/32 scale Fokker D.II "black & white tail". It normally retails for 39.90 Euros but for registered members the price is 19.96 Euros ( about $A 32). This is a very nice kit and at a great bargain price for a 1/32 scale model.

Thanks for the heads up! I have both boxes of the D.II at home and it is indeed very nice for short run tooling. For that price I might pick up another. 

The instructions for this kit have best and clearest rigging diagrams I’ve ever seen (other manufacturers, please take note!)

I'd fancy a few more SH kits at half price; only problem is the hefty postage. I put a Fokker in the basket but shipping was going to be another 19euros to UK, so really back to full price. It'd be worth it to buy a batch of their 1/32 WWI kits but if they're only going to do one a week at discount it won't work if you are specialized.
Good if you fancy a mixed bag of scales though.

The discount applies to people registered on the Special Hobby site. It's free to register there and quite easy.

Special Hobby have uploaded the 12 items featured for the second week of their 50 per cent off sale promotion - September 7 to 13..

The WW1 item specials are the 1/48 scale Pfalz D XII Early kit for 16.21 Euros ( $A26/ $US 19) and a 1/35 7.5cm Special Armour Czech WW1 field artillery gun for 5 Euros ( $A8/ $US5.90).

This week - September 14 to 20 - the WW1 special deal among the 12 products on special is a 1/48 Lloyd CV Serie 82 on sale at the equivalent of $A19.69/ SUS 14.35 and GB 11.20 pounds.

This 50 per cent price is only available to people registered (it's free) on the Special Hobby site.
