Italeri Bell 47 1/72 & Airfix 1/72 Typhoon
« on: August 17, 2020, 08:19:52 AM »
here's a couple of my recent builds, first is a Bell 47 from Italeri. It was a fun if not fiddly build but being 1/72 it's kinda to be expected.

Seatbelts are painted masking tape, i guess as they're so visible a decent set of pe belts wouldn't go amiss.

There was no decal for the instrument panel so i just added some colour to bring it to life a bit

Next up is the new tool Airfix Typhoon in 1/72, it's a very nice kit with some added details and build options. The fuselage invasion stripe is a decal while the wing ones were painted on.

Rocket tips were painted using the dunk method and i added the ignition wires

Yes, one doesn't see too many chopper models (even though I have one started on the side).

Reminds me of the TV show 'M-A-S-H'.

A very fine pair of models. I do like the Tiffie - an aggressive looking aircraft.
