The Caudron is interesting but probably will be outside of MY Price range....and skill Level
RAGIII
We are planning to have it cheaper then Nieuport, could be around 50-53eur or so

That makes sense.  The Caudron has about as much plastic and total surface on it as, say an Airco DH.2.  Less plastic, less cost, maybe?

Yes, and I guess they already did some Research and Developement work on the 1/48th scale kit. So I will put MY Average skills to the test after all on the Caudron  ;D

Looking forward to the Baby, but had hopes for a Starstrutter.  Went from two great companies planning one (to the extent CADs were developed?) to a maybe-Meng.

The CSM new kits announcement is a welcome portent of good things to come.

Maybe not Meng for the 'strutter' - as I understood, Meng only tooled the DR.1.
That said WNW apparently had tooling done in Korea, so you never know,

The Caudron G.III sounds fantastic -- I hope Copper State keeps producing kits of the unusual variety!

Not to sound selfish, but is/was a nieuport 17bis with the streamlined fuselage in the cards?
Although the fuselage would require different moulds, it does look totally different. And there were a fair number built.

Just wishing ;)..  The Caudron and sopwith are in my wishlist....

Folks..check out the Copper State Models' Forum shop on this site where Edgar is seeking input to choose the fourth scheme for their forthcoming RFC Nieuport XXIII  kit.

There's a free RFC Nieuport XXIII kit on offer as a prize!

Very nice news, but in wrong scale ;) for me - a Caudron G.III in 1/48 would be very nice too.

Cheers,
Frank

As Dave has mentioned, Edgar from CSM is holding a contest over on the hobby shop board of our site to pick a scheme for the RFC N.23 release.

This represents a great opportunity to influence a major manufacturer! In case you need a link, look here -
