There is something fundamentally amiss with a society which forces it's modelers to work for a living.

Just managed to order the Halb CI.II late, Goring Fokker D.VII, Camel “Le Rhône” for 308 euros including postage to the Uk.  Works out at about £295..

Got them whilst I could, would have liked to order more as an investment but a) I can’t afford that and b) other folks might want to buy the kits now too.

Also I chose subjects I may want to build, so the investment aspect would only matter if I don’t get round to build them and if I need the money later in life.

These turned up on my door a few moments ago.  Less than a week from clicking "buy" on their website in Germany, to arrival at my home in the UK.  VAT paid at time of purchase and no extra for delivery - whether I get another invoice from the courier later is another matter.  It was supposedly sent via DHL but I didn't see the delivery vehicle.

Great service especially under the current circumstances.

However with the threat of redundancy from my job announced yesterday, I perhaps wouldn't have ordered them...
