« on: June 17, 2020, 09:21:10 AM »
Eduard has posted profiles of the six schemes featured in its forthcoming Profipack edition of the 1/48 scale Morane Saulnier N kit.

Got some nice schemes for it's livery .

Built this kit many - many moons ago , it's not a bad kit at all .

Thanks for sharing Dave !

A shame they don't do this in 1/72, Sir. I would want at least two....

Had. It's been out of production for years and it was their worst WWI kit, very inaccurate. It's about time for a new M.S.N. in 1/72.

Yes, Revell morane was the most inaccurate of the series, but in the '90s a russian firm, Темэкс, issued a very good morane type I, which is not much different from the N. It was reissued at least three or four times under different labels, among which Eastern Express. I have bought some of them over the years, but I do not know where I put them. The box is pretty uninspiring, but the model is worth your money if you can find one. And it is NOT the revell kit.

I had the Revell MoS N kit and corrected it as per a Ray Rimell article from Windsock Vol. 2 Issue 1. The build originally appeared on Internet Modeler and can be seen here:
http://www.wwi-models.org/IM/French/sp_mosi.html
I followed all his recommended corrections, of which there were many and ended up with a nice little model. I did it as an IRAS Type I because I liked the colors and markings.
I have an Eastern Express kit in the stash and could likely be talked out of it if someone is really set on building one. PM me.
