Reference book choas
« on: November 29, 2012, 04:33:24 AM »
People are strange files. Earlier this week I listed some first edition books on Tiger tanks and Elefants by Fedorowicz at missing lynx. Keep in mind I undercut Amazon by $20 on each book. Lots of haters out there. Honestly I was surprised. After nearly 12 years on their site I have learned so much. Now however I think its time to move on to my first love WWI aeroplanes. :o

Brett has improved the site but there are always those who dont want to play nice. I too have moved away from that one and spend my time here.

I must say that, in general, I find modelling forums tend to be far more pleasant places than some other forums I've visited - very rarely come across any strange characters.

Except you lot, of course! :)

I do not partecipate to may forums at all, but when I meet nasty people it really puzzles me... I mean it is ok to have suckers at work and you can't avoid them.... Or in the family (mothers in law, anyone  ;) ) and you can't avoid that too, but in a forum! I mean why be nasty? if you don't like the forum or one comment just turn off the PC or discharge the comment... It is so easy! Why fight? Isn't enough fight what you get in the real life? People are strange....

Ciao

Steve I hear you. I stepped away from ML over the last 6 months. Once I found this wonderful site combined with nice well mannered folk it was easy to walk away.
I thank all of you for your thoughts.

I haven't been over at ML in ages, and like you Steve, over the years I've learned so much, but there were haters over there years ago. They're everywhere.

As The Byrds used to sing "take what you need, leave the rest".
