Hello from Hertfordshire, UK
« on: May 16, 2020, 11:46:30 PM »
Hi all,

I've only really been in the hobby for around 7 months and am finding my feet and learning all the time, currently build in 1/72 and am almost finished with my first bi plane which is the Airfix BE2c done in the scout colours.

I look forward to seeing your builds and learning more about these planes and the hobby

Hello from Australia Early Bird Fan.. and welcome to the Forum. I hope you find plenty here of interest among our global WW1 modelling community.

The Airfix Be2c is a very nice kit and if you are new to this amazing hobby there are many good 1/72 scale WW1 kits out there, not just the latest ones either. Many of us got our start with Airfix and Revell 1/72 WW1 models back in the 60s and some of those kits are still easily found on trading sites etc. Roden do a very nice range of 1/72 WW1 aircraft too!

cheers

Welcome to the forum EBF. From many years of experience, and having started here in a very hesitant fashion, not really knowing what to expect, I can write that this is one of the most friendly, informative and supportive forums on the web. There is a wealth of knowledge here which is second to none, and all of it is so freely shared. I hope that you will enjoy being a member and look forward to seeing some of your models.

Stephen.

Hello Early Bird Fan! Your Be2c is amazing, looking forward to seeing more of those amazing small creations. It was an Airfix 1/72 Roland C.II that my brother gave me 50 years ago that set me on a lifetime of modeling. Long may you build as well!
