New 1/32 scale model in the making

Hello,
while I am waiting for the bases for my Sopwith Pup and my Bus getting dry, I started a new model.

First I have seen of the brass rib stitching. Your application of it is first rate too. That is the kind of detail that has to be perfectly straight to work. Radiator looks a tad leaky, better dump in a bottle of Bars Leak, (Shake thoroughly first). Very smart to keep the fingers gainfully occupied while things dry, I keep meaning to so that some day. Looking forward to seeing more good modeling.

I am sure I will Really Enjoy this build! The stitching looks great. I am sure you will really get the most out of the Roden DIII.

That looks suspiciously like Aviattic PE rib stitching.

This is the first time I have spotted it in the wild, in its natural habitat.

I love Eduard's 1/32 stitching & lacing, and this Aviattic product looks simple but extremely effective.

Great idea, great application, great modelling.

I'll follow with interest.

As usual you make something rather tricky look deceptively simple. I too have pulled up my chair to follow closely. Never heard of the PE stitching though.

I'll be following along, though for my Roden D.III I got (when that was still possible, sigh) a wing sprue from WNW from the D.V/Va kit.
I have one of the Jasta 5 Albatrosen and that comes with D.V and D.Va parts, so I can use the D.Va parts on the Roden kit to make a later one with the offset radiator. The control stick and pulleys are a bonus for maximum part remnant use :)
