Hannover CL.2 13163/17 – nr 89//WNW
« on: April 29, 2020, 09:41:32 PM »
Good Day,

final assembly was quite fast so I have not generated more pic in under construction thread.. so sorry
https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=10847.0
But now let me introduce Han CL.2 no. 13163/17 => 89 in Polish Air Forces
What do we know on this particular aircraft? Not much, but once I have seen  the archive pic of wreckage some of the mystery was reveled:
-   Ailerons had the bigger surface, which suggest late version
-   No tail support visible
-   Structural support on the wings (white?)
-   Exhausts seems to be shortened, especially the front one, so I did the same
-   What else? For sure no.89 was the mixture of diff parts coming from aircraft left after the amistice

Beautiful model, Krzysiek. Great to see yet one more fine WNW model finished in Polish markings!

You have done a very fine research on 89 but I would add one more bit - it is very improbable that any of Polish Hannovers had a radio equipment on board in those times.
And one more thing, where did you get the decals, especially that Polish-language white stencil?

I know Przemek..but it was so tempting to put it inside..:)
MR.DECAL was the supplier of chessboard masks and little decals you mentioning. Product no. MD019

Thanks for the info.

And I understand you well, there are so many fine details in WNW kits, that one simply cannot stand that pressure to put them all inside ;)

A great model of an interesting aircraft type!
Looks very special with the double tailplane and different lozenge colors between outer wings and top middle wing. The over coated lozenge is perfectly executed, as the whole build.

Cheers,
Frank

Beautiful Model K. as always with your work. The scheme is unique, and the "mixed" lozenge really catches the eye. Congratulations on another winner!
Cheers,
Lance

Hi Krzysiek

Great looking aeroplane. May I ask where you got the decals from ? Or did you print them yourself. If you did print them could I have a copy of the art work ? as I would like to make a Polish Hannover (my parents were Polish) The only other Polish Hannover I found decals for were the Pheon ones. I would prefer a lozenge finished one.

Cheers
Andrew
