Turkish Rumpler CIV 1/32 WnW
« on: April 22, 2020, 10:14:01 PM »
In these quarantine days I am able to finish long sleeping Rumpler model at last.  I started in 2017 but somehow I left it but revenge of Rumpler was painful. I had printed custom lozenge decals and applied in those days but when I met box again I saw all decals peeled  and  cracked. I removed all and decide to paint lozenge ! This is my first trial with errors but I hope in my next project (DFW CV) I will make correct one. Eight masking and nine color (which I mixed) used for lozenge.

Rumpler C.IV (7956/18)  is one of the aircraft evacuated from Palestine Front to Anatolia , repaired and used for a short period in Independence War and lost during landing in 5 September 1920

Hope you like  :)

Ozkan

Gorgeous work! I love the wear on the metal and the overall finish!

That is truly impressive - the lozenge especially so. Did you spray the colours and use masks? The chipping and wear on the engine panels is also first class.
