Nice progress.  I see you have installed eyelets on the cabane struts for cross bracing.  Good call.  The plastic tabs that are molded on are difficult to drill holes into.

I learned that lesson with Dolphin. And it was actually not the drilling itself but the fact, that when tightening the lines the delicate plastic walls at the holes were torn by the monofilament line. Since that time I replaced the tabs with eyelets on two Camels and it works fine.

Some work on Monosoupape. Assembly of the star in WNW version is not easy, the seams across the cooling ribs are tedious, almost impossible to hide. And on the top of this there are the traces after removal of spark plugs option for another version.
All in all some weak places will have to be covered by dirt. Still, I am glad with my replacement for push rods and the added electric wires (their ends still need to be trimmed after the glue is well set).

Love the work on the engine, you even twisted little coils in the ignition leads and got them looking really even!

That Proper Planes propeller is a thing of beauty too.

With the decals of manufacturer plates and dirt the engine-propeller block is complete.
Futther work continues, the lower wing attached to the fuselage, seams under treatment. Also drilling the holes for rigging eyelets is underway.

The engine looks great with the coils in the ignition wires.  Test fit of the main components looks good, but I don't recall any problems with the Pup kit (careful of those cabane struts during construction).

Looking great, love the effects of the shading and highlights on the rib tapes. Is the Pup lower wing fit similar to the Tripe? I had real fun and games getting my lower wing fitted today.
