Nice Job Rick, too many people are overlooking that this is indeed a good kit as your model proves !  A worthy addition to any collection !!!.

Thanks Ed. There are a couple of great builds going on this forum using this kit!

Beautiful. I see you went for the solid green camo, there are suggestions it might have been in the form of tiny mottles applied with a sponge. But I like your rendition very much. Great to see one more of those Albatroses from 7th Squadron!

Here's my three - the first two are both Eduard, bith 1/48.  Ok, so one of them isn't strictly a D.III but I hope you'll let me get away with it....  ;D

And here is my Roden 1/32 scale D.III, built on commission for a friend who was mad about Werner Voss.

Cheers,

BC

What can I say Brad--absoluely superb modeling of WWI aircraft.  I love the Oeffags, but your Voss Roden D.III is still one of my all-time favorites, and was very instructive and inspiring for me as I started into WWI aircraft modeling.  Thanks!

Regards,

Bob

Beautiful birds, Brad. Do you have links to the build logs for those?

Hello Rick, Jacek and Brad:  I remember all of these builds.  Great to see them all again.  I did one, so far, my second 1/32nd WW1 A/C.  The stripes were a major challenge.

Enjoy

Absolutely stunning Mark, the stripes may have been a challenge but you executed the painting perfectly, this is a very appealing paint scheme, well done.
