Beautiful build Richard, at least IMHO. I'll build one of these one day, as of now, the Pup is the only WNW kit I own. Meanwhile, I'll mess up some 1/72nd kits first.

It's a very good, well designed kit. And being a single bay biplane not too much rigging. The way the struts are handled is particularly good. I have built 1:72 kits that are far worse

My problems were mostly due to things I did in addition to the kit parts

And a Sopwith Pup must be one of the most beautiful WW1 aeroplanes

For example. The upper wing fixed in place on the cabane struts:

All nice and well located, leading edges parallel and enough flex in the wings to fit the outer struts later. This way, I have good access to the cabane to do the rigging without the struts getting in the way

Invisible thread, copper wire eyelets and brass tubes. Same as the DH.2

I see this version has a propellor driven air pump on the landing gear strut.

You may be aware, this project has been going on for years. Yesterday, I knocked off several things that had been causing me to shelve this, like the rudder lines, the flying wires under the lower wing and that Rotherham pump

I have often found this - things that appear impossible when thinking about them turn out to be simple when you have tools in your hand

Excellent results on the tail rigging! I agree completely about things you let hold you back on a model. On My Off Topic build it was the Nacelle conversion, turned out to be pretty straightforward... also a four year delay

I think, at last, this one is done!

So there we are, a Gnome engined WNW Sopwith Pup from before WNW made one. Vector resin engine, vac formed cowl made by me
