                     I have found December one of the worst months to try and sell things, whether in a group, on a forum, or on ebay. Why?  A lot of folks are tapped out on their budgets from buying Christmas presents, etc. Of course, sometimes you get lucky and find someone wanting to give a Christmas present to themselves. 
      I just liquidated a couple of thousand dollar's worth of model railroading things, but I made sure I put them out there before the Christmas rush. They were selling like gangbusters until the last week or two, and it all dried up. I'll withdraw to the rear, and regroup until sometime after Christmas when people's budgets are a little better.
