Sorry I missed your post Ken didn't mean to , but thanks for dropping by and supporting my efforts  :) Ja , I pin all of my struts, even the few 32 scale kits I pinned the struts . It adds a lot of strength to the joins . When I had Blau ( cat ) before his passing he would knock the builds of the shelfs if he didn't get his way ...those pins proved their worth !

I don't have an up-date but starting this Friday I'm off for 10 days ! Soooo...lots of progress to follow  ;)

It is past Friday Ken and I bring photo's  ;D

Painting is done , but for the life of me I couldn't remember the mixed I used for the upper surfaces and the out tips of the controls are a darker shade . I also had paint lift on the rudder and mismatched colour for that touch up . Prop is still a work in progress but I'm ready for clear coating for the decals . Engine is re-painted and I added valve springs just to give it a little more interest and re-stall the gun after the rest of it is put together .

Really looking sharp T! As for any Mismatched paint, I don't see it but I am sure it happened in the field!! Loving this one as always!

It would seem with this build that LOTS has happened in the field . After clear coating and letting this dry overnight ( used future , brushed on ) decals got added and another coat of clear once dried . Future again was used , left for 6 hours to dry . Went to apply Flory's wash ( grime ) , everything was going great up to the point when I removed the wash it had stained the surface and I couldn't get it off , even washing with soap and water had no effect . At this point I wanted to bin the whole thing and forget about it . Right from the get go this build has put up one hell of battle . I pressed on and sealed the wash in with Testors dull coat . Will let this dry overnight and starting with the weathering with pastel chalks . Can also start making the many , many eyelets and turnbuckles .
