A request to Wingnut Wings
« on: November 12, 2019, 08:09:03 AM »
Dear WNW,
Would you please consider making pullout info and paint colour ID cards for future releases?

It would sure cut down on cycling through the instructions.

Here is one I scanned earlier  ;) easy for me to replicate, but not all modelers are equipped with flatbed scanners.

Fingers crossed  :)

Cheers,
Bob

Surely you’ve memorised them by now Bob!

I think this would be a great upgrade to any kit.

Great Idea Bob. On the other hand there are options:
1. Providing one isn't Anal about saving the instructions intact you could simply cut the page off with scissors or an Exacto knife.
2. Most of us have printers so make a color copy
3. Down Load and copy the page from the WNW site
Funny that until I read your post I never thought of any of My Ideas . Just continuously went back and forth  :o

I have also given those ideas some thought, Rick, but none are as simple as just including a pullout at source. I doubt it would add much to the cost of production.
We can dream!

Another alternative-

Just take a screen grab using the camera on your mobile phone- then you don’t even have to print it out and you can just delete it when you have finished your model. You don’t even have to chop up your instruction book.

Another good idea but not foe Me. There is a 100% chance in My case that I would spill Tamiya extra thin or airbrush the phone if it were anywhere near My bench  ::)

Zoukei-Mura puts the paint colors needed for each page of their instructions along the bottom of the page. That takes a minimal amount of space on each page, and doesn't require a separate page.

RAGIII.....what does 100% chance mean?

If you are definitely going to spill it.....ie everytime you make a model, put your mobile in a see through box to protect your phone and screen grab.

Just another Rube-Goldberg suggestion.

Hello,
I first collect all the needed colours, written in the manual) in a plastic box and take a bit of masking tape, write the Wingnuts paint letter on it (for example a for brass ; h for leather and so on) and that`s it.
