How does the collective concentrate on modelling when watching Black Adder?

That's a sticky problem - in fact it's as sticky as when sticky the stick insect got stuck on a sticky bun.
Personally I don't - in fact I'd rather stand on a ladder in no-mans land, wearing a luminous balaclava whilst smoking a cigarette.

I think modelling and watching Black Adder are both great ways to remember ther Great war, ... lasting from 1914 to 1917...

Everyone here are mad.  All mad.  They're madder than Mad Jack McMad, the winner of last year’s Mr Madman competition.

Talking of Blackadder (NB) reminds me of my favourite limerick:

While Titian was mixing rose madder
His model reclined, nude, on a ladder
Her position, to Titian
Suggested coition,
So he climbed up the ladder and had her.

lololol.........glad I'm not the only distracted one. Here in Rhode Island our local PBS station has British comedy night on Tuesdays with Last of the summer wine, Are you being served?, Waiting for god (Very good ! ) , and As time goes by.  Netflix has Dads Army, and Python.  What's your area show?

Some of the old British sitcoms are very tired but there are a number of classics - Fawlty Towers, Not the Nine O Clock News, Blackadder, etc.
Here in the UK we cannot understand why Benny Hill's dated sexism is given the time of day, but there are many contemporary jewels.
One of the best is Still Game on Netflix, about a bunch of old Scottish guys living in a run-down area of Glasgow. Sometimes the language is a bit fruity but the humour is spot-on. If you make it past the first two or three episodes I guarantee you'll be completely hooked.

Sadly I think a lot of British series which do well overseas are popular because they fit in with stereotypes of what the UK is like. Though, to be fair, the picture is often spot on - I mean, who hasn't met a Basil Fawlty in real life? :)

Anyway, I've recently had my attention drawn to Detectorists - for me it's beautifully written and acted and up there with Fawlty Towers, Dad's Army, Blackadder etc

Got the Fawlty Towers series on dvd, love Ronnie Barker, I have caught a few episodes of various shows on YouTube lately, Rick Mayall ( Lord Flashart) in Bottom ( brilliant) and Morcecombe and Wise. Not seen the Dectorists or Still Game yet, will keep and eye out for them.
