Another Swedish greeting
« on: September 29, 2019, 07:44:00 PM »
Hello all!

In a couple of weeks I will be 23....    for the 40th time.  ;D
My first kit back in 1966 was the Airfix Roland C.II and then I went on building anything avaliable in Airfix bags.
In the  70's I turned my interest to 1/35 armour and stayed on that path until 1987 when we bought a house.
The models did'nt get unpacked until 2005 and the stash has since grown out of proportion.
The last 3 years my interest has turned into WWI, first tanks and now airplanes.
I hope to be able to contribute to the forum with my pile of halfbuilt models.

/Bjarne

Welcome aboard Bjarne.  :)

Ahhh....those wonderful Airfix serie 1 bag memories. ::)
The Roland was great, because....no paint needed. Well...prop, engine, mg's and wheels....decals and done!  ;D

Looking forward to your adventures here,

Robin

Welcome to the Forum Bjarne. Like so many of us you took some time off in mid life to attend to family and other priorities and now you're back. It's amazing how so many of us did the same including accumulating stashes during the interim. You've found an excellent place to pursue your interest in WWI subjects, and by the look of your in progress Builds you'll have lots to contribute! Enjoy!!
Cheers,
Lance

Welcome aboard, Bjarne!  You certainly have a lot going on, kinda like my Amigo, Rick.  Always two or more projects on the bench at a time.
You're off to a fantastic start on all of them.  Looking forward to seeing them come together.
Cheers,
Bud
