Gotha G.1 (Wingnut Wings, 1/32) - 42/15 Feodora
« on: September 21, 2019, 02:49:50 AM »
This is what I managed to build from the huge box. Not an easy build at all, especially when one faces the unusual for WNW faults in manufacture - misaligned mould halves leading to some severe sanding work - all the bits required a lot of treatment. Especially thin lines/cables/pipes... Anyway, still, when the parts are cleaned what remains is a set of quite finely fitting elements - quite a bonus when one takes into account the unorthodox form of this aircraft.
All in all, I am very happy to have this weird bird in my cabinet.

That model must be huge!
Still, a laser clean, detailed build - an excellent result.

Congratulation for this great result! A clean build with a lot of visible details and a nice painting.
Your cabinet must be huge to take such a bird! It is not really ugly, but very special. I was not aware of this Gotha, but one cannot know all of the 500 german WWI aircraft types ::)
I followed your build - thank you so much for letting us watching your build.

Cheers,
Frank

She's absolutely stunning, Przemo!  What an impressive piece of modeling magic!  She must rule your display case.

Nice job Prze!

Funny how the new ones do seem to be a teeny step down from the usual standards.

As anticipated, another magnificent model from your very productive and successful Bench Prze. The rigging is so cleanly done and the finish is exceptional. Congratulations on a really fine job!

I agree with My Amigo Bud completely and will add that this is the Absolute best build of this kit I have seen!

I am a real fan of the obscure and unorthodox and did not know of this type. You have produced a first class model as per usual - in spite of the shortcommings of the kit. That is truly impressive  and not just because of its size! I am almost tempted to add it to my list of potential scratch builds - but in God's Own Scale as I would not have room for one in 1/32!

Congratulations on another stunning build and thread.

Another brilliant build! It really is an ungainly looking bird! Almost hard to imagine it got airborne! Anyhow, beautifully done.

Beautiful!
It's almost a pitty you finished it already...was such a joy to see it come together.
I love the subbtle shading /weathering.

Found my mojo and clipped it's wings, so it won't fly away.
