1/32 Control Horns
« on: September 14, 2019, 01:53:12 AM »
Does anyone know of a good source (if any) of spare 1/32 control horns?  The kit ones seem to keep breaking on me and it would be great to have some spares on hand.  Thanks and cheers as always...

There is always the Eduard PE option
https://www.eduard.com/eduard/wire-stretchers-%26-controlhorns-1-32.html?listtype=search&searchparam=control%20horns

good tit, cut the item you need close to the frame, not close to the part, this way you have a little anchor. Drill a tiny hole where you need to place the control horn and glue with CA glue.

Also available in 1/48 scale.

I do wish kit manufacturers would make a one piece control horn for the top and bottom that fixes through a hole in the elevator.. much sturdier, I’m always worried about the horns under tension..

Like the ones included on the new Aviattic Fokker frets.
