Monogram/Aurora DVII done as Stachel's Fokker as described in the book "The Blue Max" by J.D. Hunter. Fixed the chin and added Gaspatch Spandaus.















Lettering photo-retouched for this family friendly environment...









Yes, there are more accurate DVIIs out there but this was just a fun weekend build. If you haven't read the book, you should. (and shame on you for not....)

When I first read the book I thought "I'd love to see a replica of that fly!"...and then realised it might not be practical!! Beautiful work Allan and I'd love to follow your lead one day.
