PC12

All-
It appeares that those at Alleycat have a potentially billiant Bristol Monoplane kit in 1/32 scale.
What is the recomendation for paint manufacturers or PC12? I've been playing
around with varying mixes for PC10 for so long, but now we have a kit of an aircraft which was
far from the Western Front, in action in the Middle East. It was a World War. Please, any recomenditions?
Is there a bottle shade wtith reasnonible versimilitude or do I again have to guess?

I did my Tripe in Humbrol Matt chocolate which looked kind of right to me using Windsocks Datafile as reference for tone.

PC12 like PC10 discussions can get long and opinionated... so be warned, tin hats on boys!

i think the general concencus round these parts is a reddish brown. that said reddish brown is a very vague shade which can range from chocolate to rust. i use german armor red brown mixed with burnt umber to make a shade that looks right to me from what ive seen. i think shuttleworth has a bristol m1c which is painted pc-12 there are photos posted on other ww1 aircraft sites . i will poke around and see if i can find a link. sandy spigott colon took these photos .

That M1C is what I picture PC12 as but I think anything within that range of colour/tone is good.
