And the 26/15 is a G.II with round hatches and a three rudder tail.

I am still awaiting some money for the book of the A.E.G. Aircraft of WWI.

Hello Red Baron, the theme is this is a A.E.G. G.II since you told me my bought engeanies (MB D.III)were not fitting tne G.IV. So I changed my plans and dropped the idea idea of some G.IV buildung, too
So the hatches differences are not. To the G.II. But it is helpfull.

But later on a G.IV wil be made some times later, too.

Hello Red Baron.
As I couldn't figure out differences betwenn the Mercedes and Benz labled D.III engines at KARAYA, COPPER STATE and RODEN - please tell me/us what in detail you do mean.

The BENZ D.IV Engine -you are so right - und is very much standing appart due to his V-shaped exhause-tubes and the surplus of a pair of cylinders.

No seems to make an aftermarket 1/48 Benz BzIII. How about it Copper State, Taurus, Small Stuff, or Karaya?
I really like that photo of the LVG G.III but could not find a three view drawing of it anywhere.

Thanks a lot Red Baron - we are so used in the post 1926 fusions company that we forget that they were seperatated before.

Hello Berman,

...about NorthStar I got the Merdeces D.III from VectorResin in 1/48
...about Karaya I ordered the Benz D. IV engine also scaled in 1/48
Taurus gives us a plenty of Mercedes D.III superdetailing sets but no Benz, too.
But none of the three companies offers a Bz.III  -  so I'm in trouble.... :-[
What can I do?
The Roland D.VI a & b kits have got one of them... buying two expensive kits to lift the engine out and implement it into the A.E.G. G II?

Here the link to the A.E.G. G II (and G III):

Ans so I ordered the Techmod Friederichshafen FF33-E in German colours for two bucks more than the polisch one... hoping to be able to copy the engine and getting one floatplane more.

Just found this: I am not sure what the differences in the Benz engines are but would it be possible to use a kit engine and modify it to the type that yuo want? If you intend to scratch build the rest of the model I would have thought that you could convert an existing engine kit.

Just a suggestion.
