That's a great base to start detailing from!

Very interesting method for creating those wheels - great result! May be this works also fro my smaller aircraft wheels in 1/48.
I have not understand yet the order of the winding, but I guess this will be obvious while doing it.
Thanks for sharing!

Cheers,
Frank

Thanks Guys!

It's coming along ever so slooowly, still some details to add, horn rear lights etc.

Sorry, I haven't been able to find any scale plans, so this is a real scratched project using photos of the many,
many German car types of the time: Opel, Benz, Protos, N.A.G, Fulmina, Adler,Wanderer, Mercedes etc...

However, it’s without doubt one of the coolest German staff cars I‘ve ever seen. I think I‘ll try out that spoked wheels method on my next project.
Keen on seeing it finished

That's a great result. Some I'm sure will ask "Which kit is that?" when they see it!!

The figures for the diorama are coming together..

13 resin figures in all, from Aviattic, Copper State Models, Model Cellar and Black dog.

Some of the figures have been altered some, to fit the desired 'poses'.

Richthofen, pilots and ground crew are getting ready for a mission...

Driver for the Jasta car.

Two man handling/lifting the 'half' Fokker.

A setup idea for the car/Fokker combi.

Ground crew getting a Fokker ready.

I don't always agree with Bob, but when I do He is 100% correct! Amazing work!
