Des Tribute GB Halberstadt COMPLETED
« on: February 20, 2019, 10:02:27 PM »
Not sure if you want these posted here Dave? Please move it if you have a GB Completed Models section planned.

But.. my Des tribute build is done - before the start deadline! I probably ought to rustle up another entry.

Thanks for those following along in the progress section  :) I’ve still to add the wing compass decal - enroute from Canada as we speak - many thanks to Terri for that.

Lovely build, but a few issues - cowlings a bit tight, and decals were a disaster! But she looks ok in the pics I reckon.

Anyway, see what you think...

Thanks for looking in,

Guy

Great, great, great. I like your Halberstadt very much. You raised the bar very high with that camo. And any issues with decals are hard to spot... Congratulations!

Wonderful. I really love her, don’t know what to praise most. And one of the fastest builds I had ever the joy to follow. Are you sleeping at night?
Best regards

What the others have written - simply super and a wonderful tribute from one master modeller to another. The finish is simply unique!

Excellent under every aspect, but what Ilike the most is camouflage. Very well done.

Impressive speed and quality!
In the same time you have done the whole project I wasn't able to finish a almost reada one, simply unbelievable.

The camo painting is very interesting, well done.

Cheers,
Frank
