This Nieuport is very difficult. It requires many improvements, so I rather know, that I will not finish it on time, but I will continue work, to commemorate Des.
Fuselage is already glued.
There is no place to mount the upper wing, so I had to do it.

There are also no places to fasten the lower wing and the horizontal and vertical stabilizer. I had to do it too.

The engine has a few damaged parts and one spark plug has chosen freedom  :P. I bought new spark plugs from the Taurus Model, they look much better.  ;D I will make the rods of the valve dipper myself.

According to the instructions engine aircraft should be glued to the fuselage, I decided that it will rotate, had to make a hole for the axis.

The engine body and cylinders are painted.

Adam, I am sorry to have missed tis - there are just so many good builds here....! This is really good and it seems that you are having to scratch almost as much as assemble with this kit. However the improvements are well worth the effort. I too rate the Taurus spark plugs - they are amazingly good.

I too will not be able to finish my project unfortunately, but like you I will finish it as a tribute to a great modeller - Des.

The engine is looking good, Adam.  When you say there is no place to mount some of the parts, do you mean there are no locating pins and holes for alignment?  That is better than having them in the wrong places!

Good luck continuing with this build!
