Hi,
another small step forward - upper wing on place, rear mirror attached and rigging begun...

fun with rigging is partly slowed down due to necessary drilling eyes in turnbuckles - which turned out to be 'clogged'  :-\

Great progress. The rigging is looking terrific! I feel your pain on drilling out those eyelets that are clogged. Been going through something similar on My Nieuport build  :(

Hello
my project is still alive...
maybe the progress is not very impressive, but the work moves slowly in right direction. The rigging is almost complete, even a forgotten anemometer has appeared.
Well, but it's not over yet.

Not over yet? But it does seem like the completed DFW. Anyway, great model all around!

Ladies and gentlemen,
the time has come for the epilogue of the model story of one DFW in a rarely seen livery with a grenade on the sides. Finishing that model I am pleased for two reasons: that I took part in this project and that I was able to finish it in the required time.
Once again, thank you to all those who have found the time to sometimes follow my progress and willingness to encourage me to continue my work with comments and remarks.
For me it was a bit like the Olympics - different possibilities and skills but it was important to take part ...

Really Outstanding results. I love the scheme, colors used, rigging, and subtle weathering!

Now that really is a stunner. What an interesting colour scheme! The finish is super - the weathering and wear is subtle but wholly realistic. Rigging, fine details and background make this a model to remember.

Stephen.
