Howdy From North Carolina
« on: February 07, 2019, 06:29:46 AM »
Let me say I am very excited to be apart of the group.  I have been a model builder for pretty much of my life.  You name it, I have tried it.  For many years Balsa was my medium, then plastic, RC-you name it, I have built it and flew, raced and destroyed my fair share of :o.  And here I am in my 2nd year of retirement and I find myself back at that 1st love, WW1 Aircraft.  Albeit I am long in the tooth and the eyes are not what they once were, I find I enjoy building in 1/33 Card and 1/16 and up other mediums.  I have read many threads and must say there be many talented people here.  I at one time gave up building because of a perfectionist curse, now I build to enjoy.  Again, thanks for letting me be apart of this family.

Hey Rick,

Welcome. NC here, as well.

Will you be working in 1/32 scale?

Most of my card models are 1/33 so I guess that is close to 1/32 in away.  I tend to lean more too 1/12 and 1/16.  Then again, I am Jonsing for a 1/8 Hasegawa SE5a!  But don't tell the better half. :o
