Hi Rick! Yup, with your encouragement it went OK! Thank you for the link Antonio - Wow! 3 at once! Quite a mission... Yes, I did find lots of pics and Jamo did some wonderful research for us! So just a small update, I did the slot as suggested by the Windsock plans, in some photos it does look asymmetrical... Progress on the engine, there is an extra engine in my kit on a separate sprue, this looks OK to me... any opinions? Still a PE front of crankcase to add...

Some great progress on he other threads here, I enjoy them enormously!

Regards,

Marc

Hi Rick and Giuseppe! Thanks for the encouragement! I am making a little progress on some odd assemblies, at least the Dragons have an engine! The pushrods are from sprue and there will be no spark plugs or plug wires! They won't be seen, anyway. Here metal parts sprayed with Tamiya matt aluminium, just an undercoat for some metalizers later, so looks a bit grainy... the look may do for the fabric areas, though... ATB, Marc

Hi Monty,
I had to cut four cooling slots into the engine cowl on my recent Sopwith Camel build (William Barker's B6313).
It was tricky in 1:32 scale so congratulations on doing this on 1:48th scale,

Mike

Good work on the cowl openings.
I, too, will have to tackle the framework around the tail in my build, but it will get covered up!

Truely a perfect surgery on the cowling.
