Great build! This is a really weird-but-beautiful plane, I rimember Des' thread on this.
I am sure your result would have been very much appreciated by him.

Beautiful wheathering, the yellow-ish shade is superbly painted. It gives the idea of old fabric.
K I love your build!

Aligning all of those struts must have been a challenge. Obviously you met the challenge and exceeded expectations! Beautiful!!

I like the rich wood tones of the interior, and the painting looks fantastic - gives the sense of old fabric.  Did you use oils for the weathering?
All those struts look complicated.

I have used only dry pigments.

Last construction photos of gun nests and I would announce the SM.1 as completed!

Here she is for you Des! Hope that you still looking down there for your little baby, ww1aircraftmodels forum and our man efforts to build historic planes from piece of plastic, resin or whatever it may be the material:). Now I know that this kit requires lot of attention, spare time and decent modelling skills. As per me, 48 scale modeler this plane is huge!! I could not handle her well during the assembly not mentioning taking the photos. Nevertheless here she is!
BTW. Have found no photo to represent this markings :(
