This is scratch building of the highest order and no mistake. The quality of your moulds and joints is truly stunning - better than any kit!

Wow, that is scratch building as art!
The Gotha is ugly, but your model is a beauty :)
I will watch for sure.

Cheers,
Frank

Wonderful shapes. The precision with which you work is simply overwhelming.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the very kind words and encouragement!

More work on the fuselage and the horizontal stabilizer and elevator this weekend so I should have an update on Sunday.

Thanks so much for following along.

Mark

Looking forward to that update, Mark!

Many, many thanks for the kind words everybody!!

It's coming along, fill a little, sand a little, taking more time than I though for this middle gun ring section. I'm more please with how it's looking each day, will post as soon as I feel it looks right.

Thanks for looking in,
Mark

I can imagine that, that looks really good! In fact, my non-scratchbuild model kits look messy-er in this stage...!

Mine also! Beautiful construction Mark!

Ok, so it took a bit longer than I thought.  ;D  The center section has been the most difficult part so far. I've relied on the picture documentation and have it pretty close.

I made the top part to be removable at first so I can paint and detail the interior before gluing everything together.....

So far so good, next, I'll finish up the cockpit area walls and seat area and probably move on to the tail area.

Thanks so much for checking in,

Mark

True artistry Mark, the component fits are as good or better then most "high end" Kits! This is outstanding modelling and a pleasure to follow..... great work!
Cheers,
Lance

Wow! Stunning, indeed! I always liked this somewhat strange bird an am happy to see you tackling it, Mark! (As Wingnut Wings don't do it, someone has to do it, haha!)

There are some complex curves and fittings there - very well executed and what a good fit! I wish that my parts would fit half as well!

Stephen.
