Wow another great Nieuport!  Seems to be popular birds lately.  Just don't worry too much about the clear doped undersides for this aircraft, as Alan Toelle stated in his article that the 14 May 1916, meeting between SFA and STA decided: 'Avions Nieuport... Teindre en bleu clair dessous d'avions camoufles par dessus. - C'est fait (Tint the undersurfaces of the camouflaged airplanes light blue)'.  So based on this date and that Bert Hall's N.1208 was delivered at the end of May 1916, he concludes the light blue began around N.1201.  I know that Xan has a reference that puts the light blue much earlier in production numbers but I have not seen a source for that data and will stick with Toelle's 4 color upper surfaces with light blue undersides beginning around 1201.

Super build. Some very nice little touches like the goggles on the wing really add to the whole effect. Great work.

I always liked a fragile construction of this plane. Simply fantastic work.
