certainly do make a jig, CAD designed and waterjet cut from aluminium.

I've just read through this thread for the first time and as someone else coming to terms with another Hobby Craft model I'd just like to say what a stunning approach you've made and despite your set back on the struts what a great result so far you've achieved. I particularly like what you've done with the differing paint finishes - the whole thing looks terrific.

    Nice to see this one back "in the lights", Dave. You are doing a fine job on a difficult Kit, great paint work and the rigging will really bring it all together. Your comments on the wing alignment and the need for a jig don't surprise me at all, these Kits can be a real "bear" when it comes to final assembly!
