This is the one and only LVG E.I two seater of 1916:

It has a couple of interesting features, the first use of a ring mount for an observer in a German machine and a forward firing synchronised gun with an unknown sychronising mechanism
It has a water cooled 120hp Mercedes D.II engine, there's a huge water tank on top of the engine - but where is the radiator? There doesn't seem to be a surviving front view of this aeroplane, how did contemporary monoplanes solve this problem?
