I already said this, but gawd a-mighty, that thing is beautiful. Just noticed what you did with the blast troughs and the nose straps. Where did you find the refs on the blast troughs? Is this a D.Va thing?

Cheers

Keith,

Great work - impressive detailing.  I also like the pilot figure - where did you get him from?

Regards

Dave

Hi guys and thanks for hte comments.

Bo, I think these blast troughs were field fitted, I used what ref pics I have to construct something I thought looked okay. I'd noticed them before ages ago on pics of some Albies but wasnt sure then what they were. (for a while I though it was some rudimentary oil scavenging device) The archive pics on the WNW website for the decalset provided a few details to add to the build as a whole too.

Dave, the figure is from Andreas miniatures, he came with their Dr.I resin kit a long while back, I don't think he was released seerately maybe if enough interest was shown they would consider relasing him again alone.

Thanks Keith

They definitely look convincing. Are they made of card or metal?

I noticed you left the belt collection chute off the port side... knowing your penchant for detail I assume that is based on something. I was dying to see (ok, I mean copy) what you were going to do with the spent belt chutes on your AMS build as this is a piece that  is relatively lamely rendered in the kit (imo). As you might have seen I labored madly over mine with so-so results.
