Ok. My experience with resin models has been pretty good so far. One area I’m always afraid of is warming warped parts to reshape them. Most of the wings in this kit were warped to some degree.

I boiled water on the stovetop then let it cool for about 10 min before submerging the wings. I left them in for 15 minutes and then removed them and placed on a flat countertop.  They hardened back really well and much more straight than before.

Next I painted them all separately.
Now I had to decide how to approach attachment of all these flying surfaces.
I decided to start with the bottom wing. It would be a nice base to align the others if I get it attached properly. I have no scale reference plans to go by so I just eyeballed it.

Here’s the wing struts glued in place.

Next came the second wing. I put brass pins in the fuselage attachment point
This wing needed to be trimmed a little at the wing root for proper fit.

Looks pretty straight

Third wing was a little problematic with the cabane attachment point.

I’ll wait until I finish rigging before adding the upper wing.

Thanks for looking in!

Tim

Just like building a staircase (Not that I've done much of that!)

Coming together nicely now Tim. Looking at the size I was struck by how small the elevator is (I'll bet the freeflight version in the magazine increased that a bit)  ;)

Looking really good! Great job on getting a really nice build out of this old kit. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the build.

Tim, you always pick the coolest kits!  I picked this one up 20 years ago and have never touched it.  Looking forward to you bringing yours alive.

Don't like the prototype but do like your model!

Great work, Tim.

This is a rare one. I've long been aware of the beast but had never realised it was a two-seater until now!

I finished this one over the weekend. Overall this is a nicely cast and detailed resin kit. It does require some patience and cleanup. The spindly landing gear is challenging. This was one concern with the original aircraft as well. The Vickers gun is a mix of Aeroclub and Part photo etch. The Lewis gun is Aeroclub with an unusual PE blade sight. Decals are Americal Gryphon. Paint is custom mixed acrylics. Rigged with fine black EZ line. Hope you like it.

It is really jaw dropping to see what you did with this failed pancake Tim.

Hats off!
