Hello, Peter -

Really sorry to hear of your family issues - no wonder you have lost your modelling drive.  My sister's last marriage was to an alcoholic who turned nasty after he had a drink - so I really do sympathise.

Best wishes to you and your family.

Dave
As we say in fencing, what's the point?

Hang tough Pete, as others have said: family comes first AND please take care of yourself. I recently lost a friend because he could not understand my "lack of dedication" and that "I was a quitter" because I put the welfare of my family ahead of attending a hobby event with him. That's one reason I've come back to the fold of scale models, everyone here understands about reality rearing its ugly head. I'll keep you and yours in my prayers.

Hey Warren, I'm sure the contradiction has not been lost on you; given the circumstances you just described you may not "have lost a friend".
Cheers,
Lance
