This little lovely kit fell into my hands a couple of weeks ago when participating in a small modelling contest in Czechia.
Looked like a quick side project, so I gave it a go.
I got a simple version without a PE fret, so I had to add the valve push rods at the engine and later will also add two electric wires to the spark plugs and control horns.

Well, that's a new one on me!
Nice subject and great detail work.
But where did yo get that huge battery?

A little gem!

Thanks for your kind comments. The battery? What battery? ;)
The decals on and sealed with varnish. Then some delicate shading along the ribs will come, the 0.4mm Aizu tape will be handy...

A beautiful little aeroplane, it's going to look great alongside your RWDs... being fascinated with language, I typed "Kuňkadlo" into my translator app, and it came back with "Whooper"; a somewhat puzzling word. But I did a search, and found that it is, in fact, the name of a bird, Cygnus cygnus, the Whooper, or Common Swan. The things you can learn on the Internet...

What a gorgeous little a/c! Wonderful work you've done sir.
I'd like to see how you use that .4 mm tape.

After every possible disaster, failure, damage (broken struts, torn cables, broken or lost control horns, etc) I have completed this little monster.

Simply beautiful! I love it.
After you laid the tape down, what did you over spray with?

Thanks.
I do the shading with clear with added droplet of black paint, a custom version of very much thinned smoke. This allows me to control the intensity, a couple of airbrush mist passes is necessary.

Beautiful job, Przemo, despite all the disasters. Congratulations on the brilliant result!

Dutch, czech is my native language, so here an explanation on the name - kuňkat (verb) means "croak" (the sound frogs make) and the aircrat was given the name Kuňkadlo due to the sound of its engine, which resembled frog croaking. :)
-
Smashing little build ! I would like to have this kit.
-
Thanks for the kind words on my little model.
Also, thank you, Ondra, for the explanation of its name, I was also wondering about the meaning. I have finally read the text in the little monograph, where the "croaking" origin of the name Kuňkadlo was explained, too.

Another obscure and interesting subject from your workbench. Very nice!
-
What a beautiful model of a type I've never heard of. Bravo Prze!
-
Thanks, Ken and Zac, very much appreciated.

Excellent and inspirational work as always Prze! How do you do it! :o

It's a little gem, Przemo, well worth all the effort you put into it. I'd love to see a group photo of all your little civilian aircraft together someday.
And Ondrej, thank you for the explanation of the name! I'd assumed it had to do with the bird, but the "croaking" connotation makes more sense.
