VBS Kuňkadlo (1/72, Eduard)
« on: May 13, 2024, 07:22:33 AM »
This little lovely kit fell into my hands a couple of weeks ago when participating in a small modelling contest in Czechia.
Looked like a quick side project, so I gave it a go.
I got a simple version without a PE fret, so I had to add the valve push rods at the engine and later will also add two electric wires to the spark plugs and control horns.

Thanks for your kind comments. The battery? What battery? ;)

The decals on and sealed with varnish. Then some delicate shading along the ribs will come, the 0.4mm Aizu tape will be handy...

A beautiful little aeroplane, it's going to look great alongside your RWDs... being fascinated with language, I typed "Kuňkadlo" into my translator app, and it came back with "Whooper"; a somewhat puzzling word. But I did a search, and found that it is, in fact, the name of a bird, Cygnus cygnus, the Whooper, or Common Swan. The things you can learn on the Internet...

What a gorgeous little a/c!  Wonderful work you've done sir.

I'd like to see how you use that .4 mm tape.
