after a short holiday I found a lot of great feedback in my other threads - thank you very much!
After the stripdowns series back to 1/48: Here I like to show my third plastic model, a kit of Eduard:
Albatros D.III OEFFAG 153The wooden propeller is made from canadian maple and sycamore, the turnbuckles are Gaspatch and the rigging was done with fishing line. I had some trouble to get it straight ...
The painting was done with Gunze, Alclad and oils for the wooden fuselage. The rib painting do not respect the light correctly, the later models are better in that point, but I learnt a lot!
