I'll join the crowd as well. I bought their SE5a set for the WNW Hisso Version, and after examining it came to the same conclusion. Anyone need a set???
Cheers,
Lance

Ooh nice, Terri! This kit is really tempting me into getting a bit of 1/48 scale. The Brassin parts also look very nice. I can't wait to see your build. :)

Which markings are you going with?

Cheers,
George

Glad to get my hands on BAT Project's Gotha GL.VII. I was wondering if anyone would take the bait ever since Colin Owers' interesting Datafile came out.
I must admit, comparing the plans to the major kit parts, I would think the Datafile has been referred to, but there are differences, in particular to the ends of the upper wings, which seem to measure a little bit over. But nothing looks 'wrong', at least to me. If I spend any more, it may be on a visit to Aviattic for some lozenge. Not that the kit's decals are poor quality - as far as I can tell without using them - but, well, I dunno, I'm not too sure about some of the colours.

Some may feel that the cost is a little high for what you get, but I'm happy: it seems like a decent little kit, and this is a hobby where 'value' tends to be subjective. I'm now encouraged to carry on with my intention of doing a display of this with a couple of Roden Gothas ...in a year or two.
I hope we hear more from BAT Project. Presumably they intend to go on, because there are 'parts not for use' and it is numbered '72003'.

No, you don't get a free Fokker Dr.I, I just put that in shot to give you a better idea of dimensions. :)

Good haul Terri, I know you've been looking for this to arrive for a while now.

Mark, glad you got that one in, and even more glad there still some 1/72nd scale love out there.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Got an engine stand from flugzeugwerke.  Designed by Bo Monroe, 3-D printed at Shapeways and landed on my desk in Australia today!

This one's in 1/16 scale, perfect for my Aero Daimler Motor by Weiner Modelbau.

This one is just beautiful, also comes in 1/32 scale, print-to-order parts for our WW1 aeroplanes, now that's put a smile on my dial  ;D

Great haul Nigel!  I wish I had gotten the "D.V at War" titles before they went out of print. :(

After making the journey from New Zealand to Ohio, Ohio to Japan, Japan to New Zealand, and from New Zealand back to Ohio (due to a USPS glitch which had it returned to sender), this finally arrived at its new home!  This has got to be the world's most traveled Wingnut kit.  :)

And thanks to a nice annual bonus from work, an AEG and Hannover should soon be on their way as well.  :D

With that amount of mileage Eric at least you know the Gotha is airworthy  ;), lets hope that the AEG and Hannover take a more direct route
