Received this Emhar fuel tanker today, I am amazed at the number of parts in the box, a 1:24 scale truck kit for $37AUD. I have the 5 ton tipper already and now the tanker, the tow truck is on its way from Perth, only need the drop side truck to complete the series, all three trucks have been $37AUD each so I am hoping I can get the drop side truck for the same price.

I'd love to see build logs on those trucks, Des!  They look fantastic.

James, I've not used any of those leather decals yet, but if they are anything like the wood, they're fragile and need to be handled with care, but it's that fragility that enables them to conform to almost any curves and irregularities.  I'll post photos when I use them.
Cheers,
Bud

Ooh! That's a nice find von Bulldog.

That appears to be the Delux Edition item for the discerning AMS modeller.

Is there an abinitio version for the less sophisticated?    ;D

 Des,
In reference to your post concerning the WWI vehicles.I'm very impressed with the Beck trucks my old friend. I haven't found a source here, would it be possible to get a link to your source? I hope you'll have a build thread for these lovelies in the near future. Many Thanks in advance.

An older one, but a good one.  Picked it up on one of the many facebook pages for buying and selling models.

Built those as a kid in the 1970's. Those Otaki, now Arii kits are still awesome, in my opinion. What I wouldn't give to get some of those again, especially the Ki-44. One can never have too many Tojo's.

I have had the privilege of driving the TVAL Fiat 15 TER truck many times, and a guy form Queensland who I have met a few times at the Bendigo swapmeet is restoring a Fiat 18BL truck. There is a beautifully restored 18BL in the Fiat museum in Turin. I have bunch of photos of the museum 18BL in a Dropbox file. PM me your e-mail address if you want me to send you the link
